About these Books!
This book is not a monument of perfection. It is my living vessel of becoming... These poems were written while I walked through my own seasons of shadow and light; through grief that hollowed me, rage that sharpened me, tenderness that softened me, and the slow, stubborn work of healing. I wanted to feel the world completely: not just observe it, but taste it, smell it, touch it, breathe it in until every line carried a heartbeat. In these pages nature becomes a mirror for the human heart. The wind bends as if it remembers a name. Fingers still carry the scent of yesterday. One moment the words are gentle and warm, the next they turn sharp and honest; yet love and warmth never leave. Emotions shift like weather across body and soul: soft skies giving way to storm, then clearing again as I choose my own path through it all. I did my best to write these poems to carry a quiet timelessness; they feel urgently alive right now, yet somehow ancient and immediate at once.
Specially written by me for you...
I weave Elizabethan richness and Anglo-Saxon strength with modern lyric and the spare elegance of Japanese forms. English is still my teacher, my craft, my classroom. Every line was weighed and revisited, sometimes for many nights, until the rhythm rang true to the feeling. For me, poetry is not only written; it is lived, revised, and relearned. This collection is the honest record of that journey: from darkness towards a fragile but true light. These poems are for every heart that has ever felt too much. For anyone standing in the middle of becoming. For those who know both the ache of longing and the warmth of love, the weight of secrecy and the freedom of being truly seen. Whether you are young or an elder, navigating heartbreak or deep romance, searching for words when words are hard to find; these poems were written by me specially for you.
Why this book can empower & strengthen your inner champion.
Readers have told me the lines give them goosebumps, stir a deep nostalgia, and make them return to the same page again and again. They say these poems help them name feelings they couldn’t name before and see their own inner worldly matrixes more clearly. My wish is that The Gospel of Poetic Frolic will do the same for you: awaken more of your senses, mirror your soul, and walk beside you as a quiet companion. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for considering to read this book. May it help you feel more alive, listen more deeply, love more bravely, and remain, at any age, a devoted student of the inner life.

The poems move through light and shadow in a way that feels grounded and honest. They do not rush toward resolution. Instead, they allow emotions to exist fully on the page. Sergio treats poetry as so

The imagery leans heavily into darkness. Death, despair, and emotional unraveling appear frequently, and some of the scenes are unsettling. The book does not shy away from pain—it confronts it direct

What I loved the most was using the state of nature to unveil the emotions resembling your state of being and how the poem goes from soft and loving and then weather changes and body reacts and you tr
